Invisalign aligners
Aligner treatments are possible for 99% of our clients, both younger and older. For a clear picture of treatment duration and costs, you can come in for an extensive first consultation including scans, photos and X-rays. We need these to create a personal plan and a tailored quote.
Yes. The computer identifies the teeth requiring support; the orthodontist decides the optimal number of attachments for your result.
Every 14 days, sometimes more frequently.
Drinks are fine, as long as they're not too hot, body temperature is best. Eating is more difficult: food sticks easily and chewing is uncomfortable. Watch out for pigments like turmeric and saffron, and acidic foods.
When there is not enough natural space, we use a thin sandpaper to polish a tiny amount of enamel between the teeth. You won't experience sensitivity or any negative consequences.
Fixed braces (brackets)
Every 4 to 5 weeks.
Call us for a repair appointment. If something is poking uncomfortably late at night, call the emergency line.
If teeth aren't cleaned thoroughly around the brackets, white spots can form in the enamel which are often not reversible. Good oral hygiene during treatment is essential.
General
It's likely you'll need to restart. Each treatment is part of a personal plan designed by a specific clinician with a specific goal, and treatment plans and brands vary between practices. All of this is important information when deciding whether we can take over a treatment.
Unfortunately we can't offer this service, the splint would loosen too often. We do offer night retainers as an alternative.
